Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this website or email us, we receive what you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and the details of your request. If you include an organization name or phone number, we receive those too.
Information collected automatically. Our web host records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies. This website uses cookies only where they are needed for the site to function — for example, keeping a logged-in administrator signed in, or keeping you signed in to the BizFlow demo described below. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
How we use your information
- To read and respond to the request you sent us
- To provide the services you have asked about
- To keep the website secure and working correctly
- To meet legal, accounting, or grant reporting obligations that apply to us
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing
- We do not send bulk marketing email to people who contacted us for assistance unless they asked to be added to a list
Sharing
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Our website host and email provider process information on our behalf so the site and our email can operate.
- Legal requirement. If we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or other legal process.
- Safety. If disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our work, and then no longer than our records retention practice requires. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your inquiry and related correspondence
- Stop contacting you
Email contact@uxsolutions.org and tell us what you would like. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
California residents. California law gives residents certain rights regarding personal information, including the right to know what is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email contact@uxsolutions.org.
The BizFlow demo
We offer a demo of BizFlow Assistant on this website so people can try it before deciding whether it is useful to them. To open the demo you are asked for a few details first.
What we collect when you sign in to the demo. Your name, email address, phone number, and the organization you are with. Our server also records your IP address and browser type at that moment, in the same way it does for any visit to the site.
What we record while you use it. How many times you have opened the demo, and roughly how long each session lasted. We do this to understand how the demo is actually used and where it needs improving. We do not record what you type inside the demo — that stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.
Why we ask for it. Two reasons, and only these two: to give you access to the demo, and so we can follow up with you about it — for example to answer a question or ask what you thought.
We do not sell it or share it. Details you give us for the demo are not sold, rented, traded, or passed to any third party for their own use. They are not added to a marketing list.
A cookie keeps you signed in. When you enter the demo we set a cookie in your browser so you are not asked for your details every time you come back. It lasts about 90 days. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings, which simply means you will be asked to sign in again.
How long we keep it, and how to have it removed. We have not set a fixed deletion date. Your details are kept until you ask us to remove them. Email va@uxsolutions.org and say you would like your demo signup deleted, and we will delete your record and the associated usage history. You do not have to give a reason.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including serving this site over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
