Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

UX SOLUTIONS CENTER helps organizations use technology well. That work does not mean much if our own website shuts people out. We are committed to making uxsolutions.org usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or captions.

Standard we are working toward

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat that as our target, not as a claim of completed conformance. This website has not been formally audited by an independent third party, and we would rather tell you that plainly than imply a certification we do not hold.

What we have done

  • The site can be navigated with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to main content” link is provided
  • Visible focus outlines are shown so keyboard users can see where they are
  • Form fields have real labels that are read out by screen readers, and required fields are announced
  • Error and confirmation messages are announced to assistive technology, not shown by color alone
  • Headings are used in a meaningful order so the page can be navigated by structure
  • Text is intended to meet contrast minimums against its background
  • The site reflows for small screens and supports browser zoom without loss of content

Known limitations

We want to be honest about the gaps we are aware of:

  • Some decorative and illustrative images may not yet have ideal alternative text
  • No independent accessibility audit has been completed
  • Content on pages linked from this site, but hosted elsewhere, is outside our control

We are working on these.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this website is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it, and we will treat it as a real problem to fix rather than a complaint to file.

Email: contact@uxsolutions.org

Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. Include the browser and any assistive technology you use if you can — it helps us reproduce the problem. You do not need to use technical language.

We read every accessibility report and will respond as promptly as we reasonably can, and tell you what we intend to do about it.

Need this information another way?

If you cannot access something on this site, contact us and we will provide the information in another format — plain text email, large print, or by talking it through with you. There is no charge for this.
